How to Play

Players: 2+ (or teams)
What You Need:

  • A deck of Igbo Flashcards
  • A timer (phone works fine!)
  • Competitive spirit!

📌 Basic Rules

  1. Split into two teams (or play 1v1).
  2. Shuffle the deck and place it face-down.
  3. One player holds a card to their forehead (without peeking!) while their teammates give clues.
  4. Guess the word before time runs out!

🎤 Two Game Modes

1️⃣ Describe It! (Word Clues)

  • Teammates describe the word without saying it (in English or Igbo).
  • Example:
    • Card: "Nne" (Mother)
    • Allowed Clues: "My aunty's sister! My father's wife!"
    • Banned Words: "Nne," "Mother"
  • Score 1 point per correct guess!

2️⃣ Act It Out! (Charades)

  • No talking! Teammates must mime or gesture the word.
  • Example:
    • Card: "Imi" (Nose) → Point to your nose!
  • Score 1 point per correct guess!

⏱️ Lightning Round (For Big Groups!)

  • One player describes/acts for the whole group.
  • Whoever shouts the correct Igbo word first steals the point for their team!

🏆 Winning the Game

  • First team to 10 points wins!
  • Advanced? Ban English—Igbo-only clues!
